Last week, Mr. Henry Grossek officially retired as Principal of Berwick Lodge Primary School. As many of you know, Henry was not only our founding principal but also a guiding force behind the school’s growth and development for more than 35 years.
Throughout his leadership, Henry made an extraordinary impact on the lives of thousands of students, families and staff. His dedication, vision and deep care for the school community helped shape Berwick Lodge into the vibrant and successful school it is today.
In his final newsletter message, Henry reflected on his time at the school and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the community. You may have read his message in last week’s newsletter or seen it shared on our Facebook Story. It’s also available on our school website.
Although he has stepped down from his role, Henry continues to be an active voice in education. He hosts his own podcast series and is a regular presence on local radio, where he shares insights and conversations about education, leadership and lifelong learning.
We thank Henry for his years of passionate service and wish him all the very best in his retirement. His legacy will always be a part of our school’s story.
