On Wednesday, our Grade 3/4 students in the Maths Extension program took part in their very first Australasian Problem-Solving Mathematical Olympiads (APSMO) Maths Explorers contest—a fantastic opportunity for them to challenge their thinking and apply problem-solving skills.
At the same time, some of our Grade 5/6 students participated in the Maths Olympiad competition, demonstrating perseverance and strategic thinking across a series of challenging questions.
All papers will be marked over the coming weeks, and results will be shared with those students once they are available.
We’re incredibly proud of all our budding mathematicians and look forward to seeing their progress throughout the year.
