Berwick Lodge Primary School’s acknowledgment of countryis a practice that recognises and pays respect to the traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lands upon which our community is situated. Acknowledgment of Country is included in our school assemblies and events, as a way to acknowledge the cultural heritage and connection of Indigenous peoples to the land. It is a symbolic gesture to promote awareness, understanding, and reconciliation with the First Nations people of Australia.
