A reminder that our grade 3 and grade 5 students will be participating in the NAPLAN tests this week, starting tomorrow Wednesday 15th March.
Our testing days are spread out over the two weeks with grade 3 and grade 5 completing the Writing test on Wednesday 15th March.
The grade 3 writing test is on paper, with all other tests completed online for grade 3 and grade 5.
Our grade 5 students will complete their Conventions of Language, Reading and Numeracy tests by Thursday 16th March.
Our grade 3 students will complete their Conventions of Language, Reading and Numeracy tests by Monday 20th March with catch up tests scheduled during the testing weeks.
We emphasise a “try your best” attitude towards NAPLAN, being mindful that we are providing a clear message that we are proud of the effort the students put in, more than the outcome. Please speak with the class teacher if you are concerned about your child completing Naplan or if your child is experiencing anxiety prior to the test, so we can provide additional reassurance.
